The Lochsa River… what can I say besides wow! We went into the weekend knowing that the river flows were some of the highest in recent history, which says a lot for this river. The Lochsa is a premier whitewater destination in the Western US.
We set out with Bearpaw Expeditions (one of the only guide services not to cancel their trips for the weekend). The water was cold, fast and huge and what was at one point some of the scariest stuff I’ve been through, turned out to be a lasting memory of pure adrenaline. Can’t wait for next year, yes we are doing it again!
