I, Chris Lynn, am an outdoor adventurer, trout bum, sled head and fun connoisseur working in the marketing and communications field. My passion for the outdoors drives me to share my experiences via blogging and social media to inspire others to get out and enjoy what the outdoors has to offer. In the winter you’ll find me in the mountains on my sled or snowshoeing remote trails. In the summer you’ll find me on the river if I’m not “stuck” in the office.
I am an outdoor adventurer…
Whether it be a backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon, a remote region of Glacier National Park, or an un-named high mountain lake, I seek to enhance my appreciation of the outdoors by exploring the natural wonders of the world and areas rarely seen by many. My fly rod has experienced more amazing places than most people will see in their lifetime.
I am a trout bum…
With my adventurous lifestyle and appreciation of nature, what better way to bring it all together than the pursuit of trout. I started fly fishing when I was 13 years old and have never looked back. Fly fishing takes me to the most beautiful and remote locations on this planet, further enhancing my love for the outdoors. I explore all over including small secluded creeks, high mountain lakes and the many blue ribbon trout streams Montana has to offer.
Marketing & Communications
I am a marketing director…
I am a marketing director with a knack for developing and implementing digital and direct mail communication/marketing strategies to increase engagement resulting in greater brand awareness and increased sales.
I have also managed digital assets for more than 16 years, starting with an online blog and user community for the Montana Grizzlies, a site known as eGriz.com. I’ve grown my passion into a career in Marketing and Communications as well as creating/sharing content related to the outdoors.
